Developing the online advertising campaign for the launch of the PSP Vita console and the PS3 Sorcery game

When Sony Playstation first launched their PS Vita console in the GCC, Trivium was appointed to provide support for the digital advertising campaign in the region. The Agency worked with the UK team to source creative and digital assets to build a series of online advertising creatives that included Google ads, animated expandable banners with video interactivity and Facebook promotions. One of the key objectives was also to develop Arabic communication, keeping it relevant to the local audience.

The first campaign for the PS Vita console was in subsequent months supported with a follow-up campaign that promoted the hardware and other unique features of the console which included its 3G system, front & rear cameras, joystick & motion sensors, multi-touch display, rear pad and more. The campaign was also price-specific plus highlighted the offer available with local service provider Du. Once again, Trivium executed all the local creative supply based on regional specifications and requirements as well as Arabisation.

Soon after, Playstation 3 launched the first of their second generation Move games and Trivium was once again appointed to provide the digital advertising support for the GCC region. A similar collection of digital advertising assets were developed for bilingual online communication with more interactivity to emphasise the motion gaming concept.

 

Scope of work:
Artwork manipulation and reworking with assets provided from Sony UK, translation and arabization of content, video content and rich media web banner development in HTML formats, media coordination and final media asset supply.
